Italian lessons with a native speaker – Conversation,

Hi! I’m Elisa, a native Italian speaker and a European Studies student at the University of Amsterdam. I have previous experience as a freelance tutor in Italy, where I gave private lessons to students with different levels and learning needs.
My lessons are suitable for beginners as well as more advanced students. Whether you want to learn Italian from scratch, improve your grammar and vocabulary, practise conversation, work on pronunciation, or prepare for a trip, university or an exam, we can build the lessons around your goals.
I believe that learning a language should be practical and enjoyable, so my lessons combine conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening and real-life situations. I also like to include aspects of Italian culture, such as music, films, food, travel and everyday life.

For the first lesson, we’ll get to know each other, discuss your goals and assess your level through a few simple activities. This allows me to create a personalised approach for future lessons.

I’m also organised and responsible, but I like to keep things flexible and adapt to each student’s personality and learning style. I’m a good listener and I believe that lessons are much more effective when they feel like a real conversation rather than a traditional classroom.

Opleiding
I’m currently studying European Studies at the University of Amsterdam, where I focus on European history, politics, culture and languages. Being an international student myself has made me even more interested in languages and communication, and I really enjoy sharing my own language and culture with others.
Leservaring
Before moving to the Netherlands, I worked as a freelance tutor in Italy alongside my studies, giving private lessons and helping students improve their language skills. This experience taught me how to adapt my lessons to different learning styles, levels and individual needs.
