Hi! I’m Elisa, a native Italian speaker and tutor. I offer personalised lessons in Italian and English, adapted to your level, goals and interests.
Whether you’re starting Italian from scratch, want to improve your speaking skills, need help with grammar, or simply want to feel more confident using the language in everyday situations, I’ll adapt the lessons to what works best for you.
I like to keep my lessons interactive and conversational, focusing on real-life language rather than just memorising grammar rules. We can work on pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation, grammar and listening, while also exploring culture, music, films, travel and everyday life.

Before the lesson, you don’t need to prepare anything unless we have agreed on a specific topic or activity.
During our first lesson, we’ll briefly discuss your current level, your goals and what you would like to focus on, so I can adapt future lessons to you.
Lessons can include conversation practice, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and listening exercises. I can also provide personalised exercises or materials when useful.
Feel free to make mistakes! They are a normal and important part of learning a language. You can ask questions at any time, and I’ll adapt the pace and difficulty depending on your needs.

Opleiding
I’m currently studying European Studies at the University of Amsterdam, where I focus on European history, politics, culture and languages. Being an international student myself has made me even more interested in languages and communication, and I really enjoy sharing my own language and culture with others.
Leservaring
Before moving to the Netherlands, I worked as a freelance tutor in Italy alongside my studies, giving private lessons and helping students improve their language skills. This experience taught me how to adapt my lessons to different learning styles, levels and individual needs.
