Get ready to be inspired and to inspire others with the epic power of the Tanbour. - Music Theory Lessons (cognitive approach in the practice of Persian Music) Music appreciation is designed to teach students how to understand and describe the contexts and creative processes involved in music composition, recognize what is being heard and what to listen for, and understand sound and melody. What is the time signature? What instruments are being played? What are you feeling while listening to this piece, and why? The term "appreciation" has roots in philosophy, described in this context as the understanding of the value and merit of different styles of music. Our primary focus for this method is a cognitive approach to the practice of Iranian Cultural Civilisation, known as Persian Music.

Passie en techniek is voor mij de formule geweest bij het spelen van piano, en in mijn lessen vind ik het belangrijk dat we spelen wat jij leuk vindt, van uitdagende klassiekers tot bekende filmmuziek. In de eerste lessen leren we partituren lezen, ontdekken we oefeningen op de piano die jouw techniek ondersteunen op lange termijn, en gaan we vooral veel spelen. Ik ben geboren in Rusland, opgegroeid in België en onlangs verhuisd naar Rotterdam. Ik speel zelf al 16 jaar piano, heb Muziekpedagogie en Klassieke piano gestudeerd op het Lemmensinstuut Conservatorium in Leuven en geef intussen al bijna 10 jaar les met plezier. Passion and technique has been the successful formula for me, and in my lessons I think it's important that we play what you like, from challenging classics to well-known film music. In the first lessons we will learn to read scores, discover exercises on the piano that will support your technique in the long run, and above all, we will play a lot. I was born in Russia, raised in Belgium and recently moved to Rotterdam. I have been playing the piano for 16 years, studied Music Pedagogy and Classical Piano at the Lemmensinstuut Conservatory in Leuven and I have been happily teaching for almost 10 years now.
