I have 10 years experience as an acting teacher and workshop facilitator.

I get to know the student as an individual and try to instill in them an understanding and enthusiasm for acting and presenting. I am patient and friendly, as I believe it is important to ensure that coaching is seen as a positive experience which can help a student achieve their full potential. My goal is to bring out your own personal flair and talent, so I work with a variety of techniques to suit each individual.

I can coach anyone with their public speaking or drama related needs, since I am a professional working actress, trained in London. I love to help students wishing to apply for drama school in the UK or America with their entrance auditions.

Ik ben docent theater en geef naast theaterlessen al 30 jaar succesvol presentatie- lessen aan individuen en groepen, jong en oud.

Op Lagere Scholen geven kinderen spreekbeurten, op de Middelbare School en daarna op Universiteiten en Hogescholen geven jongeren en jong volwassenen presentaties. En eenmaal in het beroepsleven is 'kunnen presenteren' of 'Spreken in het Openbaar' tegenwoordig een vanzelfsprekende zaak.
Maar niet iedereen is hier voor in de wieg gelegd en/of vindt dit leuk.

Ik help graag kinderen, jong volwassenen en volwassenen bij het ontwikkelen en presenteren van een goeie presentatie, op een manier die bij jou past en die je plezier geeft in plaats van de zenuwen.

- Ik kan je eerst helpen met de inhoud en tekst te schrijven voor je presentatie (het verhaal), maar misschien heb je die al geschreven/gemaakt en hoeven we er alleen nog samen naar te kijken:
wat wil je vertellen, hoe is de opzet, de volgorde, hoe begin je, hoe eindig je etc.

- Daarna gaan we oefenen voor het presenteren zelf.

Ook mensen die spreken in het openbaar extreem spannend vinden en dat om welke reden toch willen leren, kunnen zich aanmelden. Dan beginnen we met voorlezen en zetten we langzaam stapjes naar waar jij naar toe wil (misschien wel geen presentatie, maar een ander kort verhaal, of iets anders heel eenvoudigs).

Merhaba! I am an enthusiastic teacher who has been teaching Turkish for foreigners and children whose native language is Turkish but need to improve it. Having experience with both teenagers and adults, I specialize in tutoring Turkish based on four skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

I plan my lessons regarding the student's needs and goals. In my lessons, I prefer using different teaching coursebooks and authentic resources (e.g. online articles, newspapers, magazines).

Since I have studied in different disciplines such as language teaching, literature, and communication sciences, I could promise various lesson contents in each lesson to keep you excited during your learning process.

As a creative copy professional and philosopher, I see every lesson as an experiment. To keep us both on the edge of our seats, I continuously explore new ways of teaching that fit your specific needs. Feel tempted? Book your first lesson and get one extra!

Doubts? Dutch might feel a little violent to a delicate mouth in the beginning. But once you get passed that, a sea of inspiring and quirky new ways to express yourself will open up. To help you move beyond that hump, I will adjust my lessons to your personal passions and interests, including your specific reasons to speak and/or write in this language right now.

Two kids that are roughly the same level can share one webcam lesson of one-hour minimum. Keep in mind that we will stay online for at least 15 minutes extra, as young ones will need at least two 5 minute breaks.

Hey! My name is Yasmin, I was born in Denmark, mainly raised in the Netherlands, but moved more than 14 times to different countries and cities. I have always attended an international school and received my Bachelor's degree in English & Pre-Law from the University of California Santa Barbara last summer. I have decided to continue my studies and am currently studying international & European law.
I provide English tutoring where we can focus together on whatever you need, such as: writing, speaking, writing essays and creative writing.
