A collecter, who compiled a repertoire of diverse folk and traditional songs and explored various vocal traditions

A singer-songwriter, who tells stories... First in theater for a youth-audience show, then in her own project "Carla du Ré"

Opleiding
Accompanied by Masters from different aesthetics, I have studied :
- vocal technique, anatomy, interpretation and improvisation
- folk repertoires and vocal approaches from different traditions (Occitany, Spain, Sweden, the Balkans...)
- songwriting, composition, arrangement, harmony
- piano, flute, percussion
For 6 years, I have been collecting songs from different traditions and performing in bands from diverse styles, in multiple languages
- vocal technique, anatomy, interpretation and improvisation
