During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students.

Tijdens een les bespreken we eerst waar de leerling moeite mee heeft. Daarna leg ik de stof stap voor stap uit en maken we samen oefenopgaven. Ik geef hierbij duidelijke voorbeelden en laat de leerling steeds meer zelf proberen. Zo bouwen we het vertrouwen en de zelfstandigheid rustig op.

Ik besteed aandacht aan het begrijpen van de basis, het herkennen van vraagstukken en het toepassen van de juiste stappen. Als iets niet duidelijk is, leg ik het op een andere manier uit totdat het wel duidelijk wordt.
