I am Thijs (28), an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatorium in Ghent. I also took master classes and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole. These building blocks together with the student's interests form the curriculum, so that it meets the student's wishes as best as possible. I also teach music theory/music theory. Some aspects of this are also offered during drum lessons. In the end, it's you who will enjoy it the most, so that's what I'm focusing on! Age limit & musical knowledge: Minimum age of 5 years old is required to attend the classes. For private classes such as solfeggios and piano lessons, no prior knowledge of music is required. Payment method & frequency of the lessons: Based on a period of 1 month, 2 months, or 3 months, students will be asked to fulfill the payment prior to the beginning of the lessons. Student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and graduated from the Conservatory of Chambery (France) Jazz section, I give music lessons / solfège / guitar since the age of 18 years. My teaching method aligns with the musical and artistic preferences of my students. I like to orient my classes towards the discovery, the curiosity and the play pleasure of my students. I give lessons to both beginners and more experienced musicians, whether you are looking for the simple pleasure of accompanying you on songs or you want to discover and master the concepts of harmony, arrangement and improvisation.

Professional singer holding a Master Degree in vocal jazz and a Post-Master Teaching Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels gives private singing lessons open to all ages and all levels. I am specialized in jazz, but I am open to different genres from salsa to pop music. My goal is to keep my students challenged, but not overwhelmed. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, no previous experience is required nor reading music. And if you have already been involved with music and want to refresh or improve your musical knowlegde, you are on the right spot. Hi I'm a Dutch drummer based in Brussels since 2015 and I have been teaching drums since 12 years. From September 2023 I will be teaching at the Conservatory of Maastricht in the Netherlands. I would be very happy to share my passion and knowledge of drums and music with you. I'm open to work with an individual approach to the taste of every student. Like that I can make a learning plan for each student, always adapting towards the goals we set together.
