There are endless subjects to be discussed when it comes to music and guitar. And, since everyone is different and is aiming at a different goal, I do not use a "one size fits all" approach with these lessons. However, a number of topics could be touched upon and thoroughly studied.

I like to teach or tutor (classical) guitar for beginners and advanced students. I have a higher level guitar degree in Antwerp and have specialized further in masterclasses. Several music books have been published, including a CD (with Michel Verkempinck) with own compositions.

I am a professional musician, teacher, and researcher based in Antwerp, holding a PhD in the Arts, a Master of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. I also have several years of teaching experience in music academies in Belgium and extensive experience as a performer in Belgium, Greece, and abroad.

Lessons are open to children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced students. Whether you would like to learn your first chords, develop your technique, improve your musical expression, or explore a particular style of music, lessons are tailored to your individual needs.

For mandolin students, lessons can include classical repertoire, folk and traditional music, technique, music reading, ear training, ensemble playing, and stylistic interpretation. Guitar students can work on classical or folk guitar, accompaniment techniques, chords, rhythm, reading music, and repertoire development.

My teaching approach combines technical development with creativity and musical enjoyment. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can progress at their own pace while building confidence and musical skills.

I can give lessons to players who already have some foundation and would like to improve or learn new techniques. I prefer a relaxed teaching approach tailored to the player's individual interests. I play metal, rock, blues, and some classical and flamenco.

I can help you learn your favorite licks, and solos and explain theory if interested.
We can go over the techniques:

My name is Sana.
I am a piano teacher at a conservatory and a performing pianist with more than 25 years of experience. I offer inspiring and personalized piano lessons for students of all ages and levels.

As a passionate professional guitarist I am looking forward to passing this passion on to other people. I will guide you in your journey through the classical guitar, and hope to stimulate your curiosity. I will not only guide you technically but I will also bring you the meaning of the music.

The lessons can be for beginners or advanced. I work with scores and not with tablatures. I do this because classical music is easier to understand that way. I am a Master graduated classical musician, working in orchestra and chamber music ensembles. I’d be happy to share music with you!

Didactic has always been an important aspect of my life, growing up in the music school of my family where I started playing violin at 3 years old.
I am a teacher with experiences in both private and public schools for children, teenagers and adults of all levels. We will learn violin technique, explore music theory and reading in order to have a full preparation for whatever your goal is.

PLUS: Level 4 Suzuki Method Trained Teacher. Known as the “Mother Tongue Method”, Suzuki is specifically made to start the learning of music with children in a pre-scholar age from 3 years old, for the enrichment of all family!
