I studied Spanish Philology and Literature and learned how to become a teacher at Universidad Nacional de Salta, Argentina. I've also completed a specific ELE training certification from Universidad Europea Madrid, and I'm certified as DELE examiner by Instituto Cervantes.

I'm a committed, responsible, and professional individual who is always eager to learn new things and is continually engaged in ongoing training. My patience knows no limits, and I can find a thousand ways to explain something if necessary.

Hi there!

I am Salina and half Spanish and half American although I have lived all my life in the south of Spain, in Cádiz and Seville.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English to children and 2 years of experience teaching conversational English to adults. My classes focus on acquiring fluency when speaking, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary. If you are looking to learn grammar strictly, I'm afraid you'll have to look for another teacher!

I adapt the classes to what the student needs, looking for topics that are useful for him or her depending on the area in which they intend to speak the language. I use a lot of visual aids to make learning more interactive and dynamic.

A little more about myself: I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Seville and although it has little to do with languages, I am passionate about them! I speak Italian, which I learned during university and later living in Italy for a few months. I am currently in Ghent studying a master in Graphic Design and I combine it with teaching Spanish for adults and English for children.

Op een ongedwongen manier en in een tempo wat voor u geschikt is gaan we door de stof. Mijn cursussen Spaans zijn gericht op het snel aanleren van spreekvaardigheid en woordenschat, daarbij grammatica gebruikend als ondersteuning. U leert begroeten, de weg vragen, de getallen, bestellen in een restaurant, klokkijken en nog veel meer.

Privéles bij La hispanista is dé manier om op een leuke, persoonlijke manier les te krijgen waarbij u uw doelstellingen behaalt op efficiënte wijze.

Naast privélessen bied ik ook vakspecifiekere lessen aan. Dus moet u Spaans leren voor uw werk, kan ik in korte tijd een programma opzetten die u verder helpt op uw werk. Ook voor examentraining VMBO/havo/VWO ben je bij mij bij het goede adres.

Daarnaast heb ik ook ervaring met het lesgeven aan jonge kinderen. Dat kan nu al vanaf 7 jaar. De enige vereiste is dat uw kind kan lezen en schrijven. Dus als u uw kind naast Nederlands en Engels nog een taal aan wilt leren kan dat nu. Op deze manier geef je je kind een mooie voorsprong voor de middelbare school, waar Spaans tegenwoordig veelal onderwezen wordt.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.
