Have you wanted to learn to play the piano for some time or do you want to teach your child to play the piano? My name is Faye, and play the piano since the age of 6 years old. I am an incoming student at Codarts Conservatory and have a background in various music styles, improvisation, and composition. As a passionate and professional musician, I help you develop your innate talent for music-making and give you the space to develop your own musicality with heart and passion. Each lesson brings something new and will foster the development of your creativity and musical proficiency while having fun. Lessons are interactive, spontaneous, structured, and follow your natural curiosity and innate musical capabilities. My methods are tailored to the individual needs and goals of the students. I am particularly interested in the Kodaly and Faber methods of teaching music. Lessons are for children and adults of all ages. Piano lessons are both for the hobbyist and aspiring professional musician. Other areas of focus: Music theory, Music by ear, and Exam preparation The Hague and surrounding areas.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade, she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, and win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice. The class includes songwriting skills in POP, ROCK, JAZZ and many other styles of popular music as well as compositional skills in writing CLASSICAL, FILM, THEATER music. I specialize in both popular music and classical music. The class includes both theoretic knowledge and its practical application with students instrument of choice. The class also includes skills in guitar, piano and percussion playing.

Enthusiastic guitar tutor and performer. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 6, and my formal musical education began at the age of 9 when I started attending a music school in Croatia. After 6 years of primary school, I continued studying classical guitar at a secondary music school in Varazdin, Croatia. During that period I received training in classical harmony, Counterpoint (polyphony), Solfeggio, Music history and gained plenty of experience in orchestral playing and choral singing. I decided to continue my musical education in Manchester where I was studying for an undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and currently I am studying at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. As a performing guitarist, I have successfully participated and won prizes in a number of international competitions in the UK, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Although my studies are primarily related to classical music, I am comfortable playing and performing music in a range of other styles and genres. I am also experienced with mandolin and Croatian folk instrument called tamburitza.

Music lessons in a variety of genres, tailor-made for whatever the student (child or adult) requires. I can teach in a strict "classical" style or any song that the student might want to learn (as a composer I am quite savvy in arranging existing songs in any style and for any level). Input (daily practice) is required from the student for productive lessons and, if necessary, homework is given every week. I have experience with individual or group lessons.

Teacher at Strijkdomain (The Hague), Conservatory in The Hague, Vuurvlinderschool, Geldelandschool en a Het Klooster (Woerden). I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!

We discover the instrument and its music in its full glory: the warm sounds, the percussive attack and countless colorful chords. I myself have been playing guitar for 13 years and have just completed (September 2022) my master classical guitar at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven (Belgium). I am currently further specializing at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am extremely passionate about music and love to pass that passion on. No prior knowledge of music is required. My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students. I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place! If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me! FIRST LESSON: The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste. TECHNIQUE: Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge. In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly! Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun! ABOUT ME: I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota. During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain. Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio. I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

Learn to translate your creative ideas into your music! During these lessons you learn composition techniques to create your own compositions or to improve them. Techniques to help you to give a voice to your musical ideas! Your tunes for several instrumentations, e.g.: strings, woodwinds, brasses, percussion, jazz, pop/rock, or various combinations. We discuss what your musical preferences are and which way we go. In any case, fun is paramount! There's also the possibility to learn about Harmony and Keyboard Voicings (Chords/Harmony), and/or Jazz Hanon (Chord-Melody). These methods can be put into practice with Harmony Progressions (also with your own Compositions/Tunes, etc.), so we we can see how Harmony works with the concept of Functional Harmony and beyond. The lessons are for all ages/levels and are taught in Dutch, English, Spanish, Catalan or Portuguese. Online lessons are also possible via Skype, Zoom or Face Time!

Certified piano teacher gives lessons at your home or online. All ages from 7 years. I use fun, modern methods with plenty of room for personal input. Whatever genre you want to play: everything is possible. The lessons are every week or every other week.

In this lessons we will work on Irish tunes alongside how to play your whistle, good posture and breathing technique. Irish music gives a great joy, it's rhythmical and flowing :) we will work on both playing by ear, but also reading the sheet music so you can always easily learn and play new tunes.

Hi! I am a classically trained pianist holding one Master's Degree from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and another from Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo do Porto, Portugal (ESMAE). I have been teaching for the past 6 years and I am open to adapting my methods to each student. I like to teach my students how to navigate music with and without scores, encouraging them to explore the keyboard through basic improvisation games or ear training. In my lessons, my students will be able to learn how to read scores, learn basic music theory, or develop their piano technique. Being it through classical or pop music (or any other type of music the student likes), I hope to be able to share my love for music with my students and encourage them to explore their more creative side.
