Dear student, I have been a piano teacher for 5 years. Three years ago I did my Bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In my practice, I have worked with different ages, from 6 to 73. Twice a year I organize a concert for my students. I love and enjoy teaching and developing together with my students! My teaching method I tailor to the needs of my students. - In my lessons, you can learn to improve your technique to express yourself with ease - I can teach you how to play from scratch - you can learn how to improvise - you can learn to play your favorite tunes, pieces, songs - I can teach you how to play different styles of music - I give you the proper exercises, etudes, and scales to improve your technique, tone quality, posture, and hand dexterity - you can learn how to relax yourself and treat the violin as an extension of your body - I prepare for the ABRSM exams - teaching in English, Dutch, German, Polish - teaching can take place at my home studio or at your place

The emphasis during my lessons is on technique, theory, but improvisation is also discussed. However, everything will be tailor-made, depending on the level of the student. All genres are covered. Obviously there is room for questions.

My lesson is for anyone that's interested to play the flute at any level, from the very beginners to students interested in classic, jazz and even variety of genres I can give the practical knowledge of the flute and freedom with music inside. My way of teaching is mentoring for my students how they can learn to play flute. I believe that play should be joyful. I have 15 years of experience with individual or group lessons.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. I am a jazz singing student in France, where I stayed after a year of Erasmus. I would like to teach my students the art of singing. It should be fun, with the accompanying technology! Music theory and the more theoretical aspects of music are certainly also possible!

The lesson is completely tailored to you! What attracts you to music and which styles do you like to listen to? Together we will investigate where your passion lies and from there we will continue to work on your piano playing / singing. I work in different styles of music (classical and pop) and often combine the way of studying something through notation or by ear. I may recommend a particular book to use or I may send you parts to work on yourself outside of our lessons. If you want to know more about music theory and work on it, you have also come to the right place. I already apply this theory during piano lessons and singing lessons, but you can also follow it separately as a lesson. I studied music teaching at the conservatory and have completed my studies at the teacher training college. In this way, I apply my pedagogical qualities when teaching lessons.

I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist with 14 years of teaching experience and over 23 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. After having agreed on the pieces / songs to be worked on, the relevant score is shared and given at the lesson. The teacher goes through it, while he also plays it live to the pupil for even more reach. He then explains what needs to be clarified in order to prepare any homework. Finally, Alex creates a video tutorial about the piece or song that needs to be learned for the next lesson. This gives extra support when practising at home, in order to avoid any doubt and keep motivation up. A report is then created to keep track of what has been done as well as what needs to be worked on, in order to unlock technical requirements and complete a specific repertoire in a constructive and efficient way. Alex teaches in Rotterdam at home or at the pupil's own location ; lessons are in Dutch, English or French, for all ages and levels. The teacher mainly gives live lessons, where he works with his pupils on specific material (technique and repertoire). If for any reason a live lesson can't take place, it is of course possible to follow an online lesson. Lessons last 30 minutes or 45 minutes, weekly or biweekly.
